Clear Creek ISD Named One of the Best Places to Teach in Texas

Clear Creek ISD has been named one of the Best Places to Teach in the state in the recently released 2026 Best Schools rankings by Niche.

Clear Creek ISD, which serves students in Westland Ranch, received an overall “A” rating and placed 7th in the state of Texas in the Best Places to Teach category. Additionally, the district was ranked the 6th best school district in Houston among the 52 Houston-area districts.

These accolades come just after Clear Creek ISD teacher, Vickie Wright, was named the 2026 Texas Teacher of the Year. Wright will go on to represent the state of Texas in the National Teacher of the Year competition.
