Westland Ranch Amenity Center Groundbreaking Thursday February, 8

Forestar Group Inc. ("Forestar"), a leading national residential community developer, has broken ground on the Westland Ranch amenity center, The Hayloft. 

Forestar representatives, League City officials, local real estate professionals, Westland Ranch homebuilders, engineers and architects attended the February 8th event. After the official ceremony, guests enjoyed a catered breakfast. Vendors involved in the project include KW Landscape Architects, general contractor DL Meacham, civil engineer DECorp, and architect Project Luong.

Zoned for the highly acclaimed Clear Creek ISD and just 30 miles south of downtown Houston, Westland Ranch is a 415-acre single-family development. Once fully developed, it will be home to approximately 970 families.

The $5 million ranch-themed amenity center include a resort-style pool, playground, wiffle ball and multipurpose fields, event lawn, covered space with air-conditioned restrooms, shaded seating areas, tractor and silo art installations, pickleball courts, and walking trails. 

“The Forestar team researched what residents want and have designed a facility for year-round fun,” said Forestar Texas Region Vice President and Division President-Houston Justine Klinke. “The Hayloft is more than an amenity center; it is where families will make memories and neighbors will become friends.”
