September 22, 2023
Clear Creek ISD has proudly achieved the "District of Distinction" recognition from the Texas Art Education Association (TAEA) for the second consecutive year. This accolade is reserved for the most exceptional visual arts programs in the state, with only the top 5.5 percent being honored in 2023.
“The visual and performing arts department is incredibly proud of our visual art students and teachers for receiving this award,” stated Greg Goodman, director of visual and performing arts. “It emphasizes the importance of the visual arts in CCISD and how each art teacher strives daily to connect with their students, while engaging in the arts as a form of creativity and self-expression.”
Receiving this honor for two consecutive years highlights CCISD's consistent dedication to artistic excellence. It celebrates the district's dedication to nurturing creativity, self-expression, and the next generation of artists and thinkers. The future looks even brighter at CCISD as the district continues to paint a picture of success for its students.
