League City’s Helen Hall Library has been providing value to the community through programs and events free of charge for years. There are opportunities to engage with community peers for children, teens, and even adults. Here are just a few of the wonderful upcoming events hosted by Helen Hall Library:
StoryWalk All Week
Week of October 23rd through 29th, all day; for ages 3 to 8 and their caregivers.
All throughout the week step outside through a story together. This Tactile approach to storytelling is the perfect way to engage your little one who may not usually sit through a storybook. Afterward, come into the library for a small prize!
Clash of the Cards
Wednesday, October 25th from 5:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M.; for ages 12 to 18
Sharpen your skills with strategy-based card games such as Happy Little Dinosaurs, Exploding Kittens, and Magic: The Gathering! All experiences are welcome at this laid-back card game event.
Helen Hall-O-Ween
Saturday, October 28th from noon to 4 P.M.; for all ages.
Last but not least, attend this Halloween-themed event for trick-or-treating outside the library, a pumpkin walk to vote for your favorite decorated pumpkin, a variety of activities, shop local vendors, and sample food from different food trucks! This is one event you don’t want to miss at Helen Hall Library!
