September 29, 2023

New Homes in League City

As September ends and October begins, that only means one thing, it’s Fall Y’all!

This first official day of Fall was September 23rd, and we wish Texas would catch the memo! Nonetheless, We’ll sip our iced pumpkin spice lattes and dream of cooler weather while making the most of fall with these activities right here in Galveston County.

  1. League City Harvest Festival

Starting close to home, we have the one and only League City Harvest Festival! Join in this annual tradition for family-friendly activities such as crafts for kids, games, face painting, hayrides, and more! Partake in some friendly competitions with a kid's costume contest and a pumpkin carving contest. There will also be plenty of food trucks, artisans, and vendors to shop from all over the community. Head to League Park from 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM for this FREE family-friendly event!

  1. Kemah BOO on the Boardwalk

Kemah has boatloads of family fun and scares this fall! With their classic roller coasters and boardwalk games to the seasonal spooky additions, your family is bound to have a blast! The Little Boo Haunted House, trick-or-treating, and kids’ spooky crafts activities are sure to leave your little ones frighteningly happy. Peruse the park and attractions while taking in the sea for a perfect Fall day at Kemah Boardwalk.

  1. Visit The Galveston Railroad Museum

Learn about Galveston’s eerie past this fall at the Railroad Museum while you tour historical railroad carts. Known for its spooky past, many areas of Galveston, including The Railroad Museum, are supposedly “haunted,” but that’s something you’ll have to see for yourself. This educational and family-friendly spot provides lots to be learned and is located on the historic strand, where you can visit restaurants and candy shops with the family afterward. We hope you visit and have fun, just keep an eye out for passengers of the past!
